Tesco announced that Google Home smart speaker owners are now able to order the groceries with a just voice command as supermarket unveiled integration with the Google Home.
The technology is growing rapidly as the Google answered towards the speaker that the high tech is not only able to play music but provides the information on request and obeys the spoken commands with the help of Google Home speaker.
The technology and artificial intelligence of voice recognition system are growing rapidly and the people are relying on the voice command devices – this is the reason supermarket incorporate with the Google home speaker to make it usable in general life.
The supermarket’s tech lab has developed the IFTTT recipe known as (If This Then That) to add products to the user basket with just using their voice command as it automatically adds the items to the shopping basket and if the slot is already booked it will add it to existing order and it will also the learning agent as it will prefer the shopping items based on the previous orders.
Tesco launched the technology of IFTTT last year providing a platform to the smartphone users to automate their shopping via mobile but this time they allow the automate shopping with the help of Google Home as this feature is growing rapidly in the life of the people.
Tesco claimed that Google Home integration is smarter as they added that if you are doing shopping with the IFTTT then it will provide you the best items in your basket depending upon your existing orders – not just the first result.
The research and survey show that the use of smart speaker is expected to grow this year as people are expected to use the voice control speaker at least once a month and they added that the latest technology is interacting people.
They added that consumers are becoming increasingly comfortable with the use of this technology as they order the groceries with the help of voice commands and with the decrement of these devices people are finding more reason to adopt these devices.
